Bun B's "No Mix Tape" is Coming Soon

I'm very excited for this project. It took me for a while to get a feel (Draped Up, did it for me) for Bun B's flow, mostly because I automatically assume mother southern rappers are trash, but Bun is as legendary in the south as Cam is in NYC.

The whole idea that he was just freestyling to "get the juices going" for his new album was honorable. Now that so many people are hyped for the songs, a mixtape became inevitable. He kills the "Big Dick Chain-y" Freestyle, though an Exhibit C freestyle would have also been good. I'll post "No Mix Tape" when its available.

Complex's 10 RPG's That Won't Turn You Into a Level 53 Virgin

I have a particular problem with Complex magazine. It's run by fucking hipsters, aside from that they'll periodically put out a few chuckle worthy, or otherwise interesting links. This is one of them. Usually their Top (Insert Number, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 etc) lists are convoluted and full of political points of view (its the industry after all).

I've played most of the titles and its pretty on point. KOTOR and Ocarina of Time are my all time favorite RPG's. I've never played Final Fantasy 7, but I've always heard great things. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is hands down the best Super Hero game ever (fuck the sequel they made, utter polished trash), with the best selection of characters ever. Fallout is an Action RPG, but it is the best of that genre. Great article overall, has plenty of game-play footage if you've never seen them before. I'd recommend all these titles, and I might even pick up FF7 (if I can get a copy somehow).

Duke Da God Cooks Up Some "Sour Fried Chicken"

Duke Da God is one of my favorite "Non Rappin' Ass Dudes" and this concept is something I've thought about for awhile, but haven't executed on video. Done it before just not recorded it.

I am definitely going to try and make this. That'll be a good time to film something, Ha (Trademark Mike Wright).

Oy Veil! French Ban on Muslim Garb Sparks Debate

Honestly I have to say I'm against such a measure. I know its not my country, and I know they want to burn Israel to the ground, but this just isn't right. Imagine if you were unable to wear your cross, or your star of David, or ankh or Bling Bling? It just goes to far.

I'm not gonna lie though, home girl looks like the Ring Wraith from Lord of The Rings.

Talib Kweli & DJ Hi-Tek MTV Interview

It's amazing that the corporate hipster douchebags respect some good music, because from time to time they'll churn something out of their machine thats worth acknowledging.

If you've never heard the "Reflection Eternal" album, nows a good time to jump off the tallest building or cliff you live near. Enjoy.

I'll take the matching shirt with that Gucci Man Purse

"The Village Voice" has reached a consensus I've long had. FUCK GUCCI MANE, RADRIC DAVIS, LA FLARE or whatever else "The Kids" are calling him these days. Now in my 4 day stint in ATL back in 2005 I absorbed way too much of the dude's catalog without even knowing his name, thanks Donte, but I still don't understand his "Mass Appeal."

I want to believe its his "Stupid Crazy" lyrics, but they are so far from that. Cam'Ron does songs with him so he must have something in his book of rhymes I'd enjoy:

"Like OJ Simpson I just wanna stab her."

Hmmmmmm maybe not. I don't have much of a problem with Diplo, I enjoyed "Paper Planes" but if he is a beacon of Hipster power I have to maintain some distaste for his work.

Both the T-Shirt and Mixtape are available on the Mad Decent Partner's Blog.

ATCQ gets down for Phife Dawg's Diabetes

I've been reading nahright.com for almost 4 years now and Eskay, Nation & Dre have very much set the expectations of what a blog should be. Something you are passionate about, something you can joke about, something your friends/neighbors/coworkers/The CIA can enjoy and discuss.

I don't really know the "Unwritten but Written" code of Blogs just yet, but in time I'll get it. For now, thanks NahRight.com, TheHuffingtonPost.com, Straferight.com, Facebook.com, Mike Wright, Larry David, and Cameron Giles for giving me enough material to cover in: I Don't Think That's Kosher, my new outlet.
